What is a stapled unit?

This is the description given when two securities must be traded together. In the case of SCA Property Group it means one unit in SCA Management Trust and one unit in SCA Retail Trust, trading together as one stapled SCA Property Group unit.

Will SCA Property Group make distributions?

SSCA Property Group intends to distribute approximately 85–95% of distributable earnings each year. "Distributable earnings" represents the Directors' view of the underlying earnings from ongoing operating activities for the period.

How often and when will distributions be paid?

Distributions will be paid on a six-monthly basis at the end of January and at the end of August each year.

What portion of the distributions will be tax deferred for Australian tax purposes?

Approximately 47% of the distribution for the period ending 30 June 2013 was tax deferred. This will vary in the future depending on the age and composition of the Portfolio.

Is the Distribution Reinvestment Plan active?

On 26 November 2012, SCA Property Group announced details of its distribution reinvestment plan (DRP) to the ASX.

This distribution reinvestment plan is not active for this distribution period. If this changes at any time in the future, an ASX announcement will be made.

I have already provided Tax File Number (TFN) or my financial institution account details to Computershare or Link for other holdings that I have – do I need to provide it again?

Yes

SCA Property Group’s unit registry is managed by Link Market Services Limited (Link). Link offers this service to multiple listed and unlisted entities. Link must not share the information it holds for one client with another except in certain limited situations.

You must provide your personal details to Link as SCA Property Group’s registry provider (for example your TFN or bank account details) whether or not you have provided it to Link as registry provide for another entity. Neither SCA Property group nor Link is able to obtain this information from other sources.
